Facility Overview

This facility has over 24,000 square feet of updated classroom and study space conveniently located ½ mile from I-526 on International Boulevard (near the airport).

Most of our classrooms have a ceiling mounted LCD projector, digital presenter and computer (w/ optional laptop connections) and VCR/DVD capabilities. Our facility also has wireless internet access.

Other accommodations include:

30-station computer lab
Virtual library area with 16 student computers (2 iMacs), b/w & color printers and a scanner and video capture technology available for student use.
Some rooms equipped with classroom capture recording equipment and Polycom video conferencing equipment (contact us for details on recording costs).

*Please feel free to contact us for more information on standard computer software installed on lab computers. We do not allow any proprietary software uploads to lab computers due to security risks.

If you are interested in renting the video conferencing rooms and utilizing video-conference or recording capabilities for your group please contact the Director of Facility and Office Operations for rates. Rates begin at $125 per hour for a site to site connection and will require an advance test to ensure proper connection 24-72 hours in advance.

There will be a set up fee of $75 assessed on any event needing non-standard classroom configurations.

Catered events must be contracted through College of Charleston’s Catering department managed by Aramark. Contact: (843) 953-5669 or catering@cofc.edu for menus, pricing and assistance.

The facility offices can assist with additional services such as faxing, printing, photo copies or flip charts at an additional charge.
